Upgrading SENTIENT Professional Edition to 4.1
NOTE:
These upgrade steps are applicable for SENTIENT version 4.0.xPE. In order to upgrade to 4.1PE you need to upgrade to 4.0.xPE first.
SENTIENT PE package download
Download SENTIENT Professional Edition installation package for Windows: sentient-windows-4.1pe.zip.
SENTIENT PE service upgrade
- Stop SENTIENT service if it is running.

net stop sentient

Make a backup of previous SENTIENT PE configuration located in <SENTIENT install dir>\conf (for ex. C:\sentient\conf).

Copy content of the sentient-windows-4.1pe.zip to the same location.

Compare and merge your old SENTIENT configuration files (from the backup you made in the first step) with new ones.
NOTE:
Scripts listed above should be executed using Administrator Role.
Execute regular upgrade script:

Start the service
